My second day was a little less exciting, as all i did was just cover the office and answer phone calls and questions while my supervisor was out.
My first official day of my internship came at a great time. There wasn't anyone scheduled between 3pm and 5pm to run the fitness center so before the employee that was supposed to leave at 3pm left, I shadowed her and learned what to do and how to run the computer for new members and existing members. At 3pm I was left to run the fitness center until the next employee arrived.
Before I officially started my internship at Spartan Arena my supervisor Steve wolf invited me down to see how an actual event was run here. while I didn't do much (I did control the lights for the national anthem) I was able to see what went into an actual event as far as preparation and afterwards.
